As an experienced ophthalmologist with over 20 years of practice, I understand how important your eyesight is to you. I aim to not only provide exceptional medical care but also to ensure my patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment plan. With years of experience and a passion for my work, I am dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to all my patients.
As a medical graduate of Southampton University, I have been providing quality eye care services for many years and have trained to be an expert in my field. After completing my training in Ophthalmology in the Wessex region, I took two fellowships specializing in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. These experiences helped me build expertise and knowledge in treating and managing a wide variety of eye problems including cataract, paediatric eye issues, and strabismus in adults and children.
I have been a consultant at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust since 2013.
I have been actively involved in the education and training of future eye care professionals. My experience as a College Tutor, Training Programme Director, Regional Education Advisor, and Senior Examiner for the RCOphth have allowed me to share my knowledge and experience with others in the field. I am committed to helping others develop their skills and knowledge in order to provide better care to patients.
